A Cruise is a Great Deal
A cruise is an opportunity to relax and enjoy being taken care of. You can take in the warm sun on a beach, devour amazing food, be entertained without out driving very far, and have time alone away from the noise of everyday life. Going on a cruise is becoming easier for nearly everyone to afford and it can be enjoyed any time of the year.
What’s so Great about a Cruise?
If you choose a cruise for your vacation you can get the best deal for your money. This is true for many reasons. You can visit multiple places without having to pack and unpack constantly. The best cruise lasts about seven days. Any shorter and you feel like it is over before you’ve fully relaxed. Any longer and you get home sick. Seven days is plenty of time to visit about three different places, while having time to just hang out and enjoy the atmosphere.
If you get one of the cruise packages, you can get everything inclusive. This means that for one price you get lodging, great cuisine, and plenty of entertainment. This is probably the best way to relax because you aren’t worrying about sticking to a budget. Instead you can eat all that you want and do nearly all the activities. A cruise will typically have food available 24 hours a day. This is perfect if you are up late enjoying the moonlight or engaging in some entertainment during normal eating times.
With any cruise liner that you use, you can find entertainment and food for all age groups. So you don’t have to worry about whether you and your kids will be able to find things you enjoy. There are live shows, dancing, late night movies, a piano bar, games, and much more. It will be nearly impossible to take part in all the activities going on because you will be so busy enjoying yourself. On a cruise you will also find an onboard chronicle that you will want to have handy to see when all the activities occur and what they entail. The cruise may have the chronicle delivered to your cabin door or maybe you’ll need to go to the front desk for a copy.
The food is so amazing you’ll have a hard time resisting it. So if you feel like you need to keep in shape you can spend time in the fully-equipped gym that will usually have a fitness instructor available to give you some pointers.
If you prefer to just relax during the cruise, you can take part in the onboard spa. Here you’ll enjoy massages by professionals that can really help you take your mind off all the worries from back home. There is also a beauty salon available on many cruises where you can get all spruced up for a fancy evening in the dining room. The beauty salon and spa aren’t part of the all-inclusive package, so you’ll want to set aside some money for it.
Taking Precautions to Ensure you have a good Time
The last thing you want to deal with on your relaxing trip is getting sick. So you will want to bring along some motion sickness pills, which you’ll want to take a half hour before getting on the cruise. If you have a problem with pills, you can also look into getting the motion sickness band that goes on your wrist.
If you are one that usually forgets an essential at home like toothpaste, there will be a store onboard where you can get all kinds of supplies. For more information on specific cruise lines and cruise ship reviews, look online or visit a travel agent. You are sure to find one that is perfect for your preferences.

Sanibel Island Rental
As a vacation destination that needs no distractions from glitzy amusement parks and bustling city centers, Sanibel Island offers relaxation in an untamed, naturally stunning setting. Away from the everyday attractions and touristy feel of mainland Florida, you cannot help but lose yourself in the island flavor and soothing ambiance of this little piece of paradise when you stay in an inviting vacation rental.
Although Sanibel Island’s main draw may seem run of the mill, its miles of white sand beaches are truly a sight to behold and have made this island one of the most sought after destinations in the state. Your stresses cannot help but dissipate when your eyes cast over the spectacular crystal blue expanse of the Gulf of Mexico and soak in the sharp contrast of the sand and sea. And as you glance down towards the soft sand that has gently made its way in between your toes, it becomes readily apparent why this is considered the best place for shell collecting in the country.
The 12 miles of sandy waterfront that surrounds the island can be almost magnetizing, making it difficult to drag yourself away from this unbelievable strip of beauty. However, when you retreat to your vacation rental accommodations, you never truly need to leave the beach behind since you are just a stone’s throw away from the water’s edge and the gentle lap of the waves is always within sight from your balcony and bedroom windows. Even during sunset, you can saunter across the stunning sands directly behind your condo or house rental without worrying about making it back in time for a family dinner.
When the sun begins to shine on this stunning scenery and the pull of the water begins to overwhelm, you simply need to grab your immediate supplies and go. Walk down to Bowman’s Beach, considered the most popular on the island, and spread out for a day of swimming, sunbathing, and shelling surrounded by lush greenery on one side and gorgeous blue waves on the other. And if you happen to forget your sunglasses or some reading material, a simple stroll up the sand will lead back to your much needed supplies and back to your sunning spot in mere minutes.
In addition to the prime waterfront adventures that lie at your doorstep, many Sanibel Island vacation rentals offer their own form of active amusement for those times when you need a break from the sandy Gulf. A large private pool will certainly appease the kids when you want to relax in the shade, while the soothing hot tub is the surest way to melt away your sore muscles and stress. You can also take advantage of the pristine weather to get in a tennis match or two on the private courts or grab one of the kayaks or canoes that come with your rental for an afternoon of exploration.
When selecting the right Sanibel Island rental for your getaway, consider one that has the spectacular J.N. (“Ding”) Darling National Wildlife Refuge as its neighbor. The wildlife refuge is one of the best in the state and is teeming with recreational activities such as hiking, biking, bird watching, kayaking, and, of course, wildlife viewing. The perfect place to commune with nature and appreciate the natural gifts that have been bestowed upon Sanibel Island, you are just a hop, skip, and a jump away from more adventures than you ever imagined.
Since Sanibel Island focuses on its au natural amusements and countless outdoor pursuits, the majority of any getaway is bound to be spent soaking up the splendor of the great outdoors. While your getaway will certainly be exciting when you stay close to the beaches and the “Ding” Darling Refuge, your vacation rental is waiting with wireless internet, a big screen TV, DVD players, and a fully-stocked kitchen to satisfy your entertainment needs when night has fallen on your outdoor wonderland. Inside or out, your vacation has never been more enjoyable or relaxing than when you stay in a vacation home or condo rental.

Easy Natural Dandruff Cures
The greatest enemy of healthy hair is dandruff. This is a problem which worries many women, and experts reckon that one in every three suffer from it. If there is the slightest sign of this, deal with it without delay. Fortunately, these days there are a number of excellent preparations available in the market for curing it. Besides the antidandruff creams, lotions, oils and shampoos available in the market, there are many simple house hold remedies to fight dandruff described below:
(1) Mix two tablespoons of cosmetic vinegar and six tablespoons of hot water. Dab with cotton into the scalp, parting the hair with a comb apply all over the scalp. Preferably it should be used at bed time. Tie a scarf over the hair to avoid staining the pillow. Next morning wash the hair with shampoo. After the hair is thoroughly cleansed pour over as a last rinse a mixture of three tablespoons of cosmetic vinegar and one cup of hot water. Then dry the hair thoroughly. This should be done twice a week for three months.
(2) Hot oil therapy is another method to cure dandruff. Massage hot oil into the scalp at bedtime. Next morning an hour before bath, rub lemon juice mixed with cosmetic vinegar (mix 1: 2 ratio) into the scalp. Give the hair a good wash with egg shampoo.
Egg shampoo is one of the oldest beauty recipes. Eggs are full of protein. Simply wash your hair with egg. Beat up one or two eggs with a cup of water and thoroughly massage this into your wet hair for about five to ten minutes. Rinse off thoroughly and remember not to use hot water. There is another method to use egg shampoo. Simply beat one egg in a cup of water and mix to it 1 to 2 tablespoons shampoo. Do not worry about which shampoo has to be used. As a last rinse use the juice of one lemon in a cup of hot water. Continue this complete treatment once a week for three months, then once a fortnight for the next two months.
(3) Give your hair a hundred strokes every night with a brush or comb. Remember that the root of each hair is the sebaceous gland that supplies oil to keep each hair soft and gleaming. Press .the bristles of the brush against the scalp to exercise and squeeze the tiny oil reservoirs. The oil sac automatically start distributing natural scalp oil to each hair strand. Take the hair brush from the root of the hair to the very end of the hair so that the oil is carried to each individual hair tip. Avoid as far as possible wire bristles, because wire breaks the hair and gives it a ragged look. It is important that combs and brushes be kept clean. Add a few drops of ammonia to water and clean combs and brushes. Brushing moulds the hair, makes it more manageable and gives it a prettier gloss. Hair should be brushed or combed gently and lightly when -wet as there is a danger of its being stretched and weakened.
(4) Give your hair a hot steam bath. Massage hot oil with a hot damp towel and leave it on the head like a turban so that the steam can fight dandruff. You may use two towels for this purpose.
(5) Here is another beauty tip for your hair. After giving your hair a good wash, boil five teaspoons of dried used tea leaves in lime water and use it as a last rinse after shampoo. This gives the hair a lustrous shine and provides nourishment too.
